There came a point where Steven Seagal could make a movie and it didn’t really matter what the title was. His films have a common themes. If he isn’t fighting terrorists or protectin the environment, then he is going up against corrupt cops and drug dealers.
When this movie came out it was pretty much a fact that Seagal could not be killed. In this film they go so far as to put him in a coma, and he still survives to come out breaking arms and necks. Eventually that theory came to an end in 1997 with “Executive Decision”, but it was fun while it lasted.
“Hard To Kill” is one of Seagal’s more forgettable entries, but it is a must see if you are a die hard fan. It is everything you want from one of his films. No more and no less.
