“Back To The Future Part II” is the less then stellar follow up to the smash hit “Back To The Future”. It takes the original plot and rehashes it in to another story accept our characters are transported in to the future instead. There is some intriguing elements as they get transported back to 1955 again, and are forced to re-work some of the events from the first film.
Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd are back in their respective roles, and have fun with some of the now triple roles they have to play. This time they are surrounded by a lot more special effects and action, which is done really well from a technical point of view.
Overall this sequel is lots of fun, but takes a bit more effort then the original film. This movie doesn’t really feel necessary, but it was a solid stepping stone towards a third film that actually improved, and captured some of the free spirit of the original film.
