“Fright Night II” is one of the few horror sequels from the 80s that is actually good. It is a fairly stylish and funny vampire movie that is not quite as good as the original, but is a worthy continuation.
The plot follows the sister of the Jerry the Vampire from the first film, as she seeks revenge on the kid who killed him. She brings with her a team of bizarre monsters who seem to enjoy acting like children as opposed to hunting people.
There is a funny sequence in which they go bowling to blow off some steam. They end up using a human head.
I think I enjoyed this movie because it at least tried to be different from it’s predecessor. The characters actually go down logical paths as a result of the first film.
